Hi all, I'm looking to get some Russian lessons on a one to one basis. I am a complete noob, but have had an interest in all things Russian for a long time, plus some friends in Germany and Russia I'd like to be able to converse with in their native tongue(at least on a basic level) Would be looking for maybe 3-4 hours a week, evenings, preferably in my home but can travel within reason. I'm based in Dublin 3.

For formal lessons in a classroom setting, I'd strongly recommend the Russian evening course in Trinity College - let me know if you need an introduction.

For something a little less formal, there's a pub meetup that's run in Kennedy's bar on Westland Row every second week - of learners and natives here!

You might be able to find somebody interested in doing an English for Russian language exchange as well at the meetup - there are a couple of more meetings before the end of the year so feel free to drop along to one.

    Best of luck!

Thanks Robin, I saw the trinity courses, but I missed the boat on that, I think it started in September. And I'm aware of the informal meet ups, but as I have no Russian I'd feel a bit out of place. Hence my request for one to one lessons
