    Folks
We have been having savage issues with a Citroen C4 (8 weeks off the road and still not fixed fully)
Anyway - we had hoped to trade her in against a possible Prius (MKIII - 2010+) but now time and to be honest funds are against us and the fact that there seems to be a small amount of Prius available in our locality

So we spotted the below and wonder if anyone has any thoughts on it as a run around that I would keep for 12 months when hopefully funds will be in a better place and there may be more choice in the Prius etc.
the reason I have spotted this is I think the dealer will take the Citroen from me at a decent(ish) price for trade in

What we need is a decent size family car (no need for 7 seats but it is a bonus). Petrol as I don't do the mileage for diesel and my work commute is a bit stop start. Cork area if possible.

Doesn't make sense as a short term solution IMO. Would it not make more sense to buy a mk2 Prius and see if you like them before taking the plunge with the mk3. The Prius shouldn't lose too much in depreciation in the year and at least you'll get a feel for them and probably an easy trade in model to model.

Good idea but again there are no decent Prius MK2 available in my area that I can find
Would you think there will be more on the market once the MKIV comes on sale in Feb next?

The actual car mentioned in the OP - any thoughts on it? Reliable? does it look like a genuine price?

OP, I know a guy who had a complete nightmare with that 1.4 TSI engine in the Touran and he has it from new. If reliability is top of your list I would look elsewhere.

    good information thanks
I will indeed look elsewhere as I see on Honest John car only gets 2 out of 5 and any reviews on Parkers seem to be for 2L diesel
