My skin on my face has quite a grainy feel to it recently. I've tried exfoliating and it hasn't made much of a difference, so it's just not a cleansing issue. I'm thinking about getting some kind of facial to see if that helps. Would microdermabrasion be the best bet, or should I try something else first?

I'd go for a consultation first to see what they recommend. I had quite flakey skin awhile back and no amount of exfoliating and moisturising at home would sort it. I thought i'd need a microdermabrasion type facial but I didn't need something so harsh in the end.

I like glycolic acid pads for exfoliating. I use nip+fab ones once a day after cleansing. I also have the Alpha H liquid gold which I use once a week as a treatment at night time.

I got this last week, my skin felt like there were scales on it. I scrubbed it last night a few times with Botanics face scrub and covered it in lidl day cream and i'm all soft and new again. Cheap and cheerful cure. Worth a try before you start forking out for expensive treatments :)
