What's the handiest way to limit the amt of data a device can download in a month?

OH has 3 dongle, 25GB pm limit, young fella burns though this in 2 weeks or so on PS4; need to limit him to about 15GB per month, an when it's gone he's blocked but everyone else can continue on. Can limit times on the router, but not amt of data he can download during that time.

    Any suggestions?

Tell him to cop on or change the password. No way that i know of to limit a specific device without setting up a server based solution.

PS4 uses very little data unless he's downloading games on a regular bases or watching Netflix.

Some games can be 30GB each, so get him to watch what he's doing. Or to ask you before hand.

Alternately, get him to buy physical discs.

Don't believe he's downloading any games - no dough/credit card details to buy any - unless there are trials/free games he can download?

Recently got new game for pc and steam was ages bloody downloading.. suppose that was a super massive size of a download..

Updates for games are regularly a couple of gb's.

If he has a PSN sub he gets a few free games every month, and just one demo could easily pull 10GB. Also if he streams his games that'll hammer your usage.

Your using Midband when you need broadband, get a fixed line connection if theres any available in the area and use that without limits.

Aye he has the sub ok, must be that, might be easier to just stop paying the monthly fee.
