A typical tale of a cat

So we decided to buy our little princess a cat tree, so that she could have a place in the bedroom with us to relax and stretch her claws. She likes to sit high on a wall outside so we reckoned we'd get one she could go high on.

Much excitement when it arrived and during assembly!

She LOVES it! Lots of claw stretching. Much playing with the little dangly toys. Plenty of lounging on the lowest platform. The lowest one only! If you put her on a higher one, she immediately jumps down. So for all our careful deliberating, we could have just gotten her a box to sit on :)

So ends a typical tale of a cat.......

Give it time. I'm not saying she'll ever want to go up higher, but she might. I moved about a month ago and got a nice fluffy cat bed, put it in a great cozy spot with a great view.

Was completely ignored by both cats until yesterday afternoon. Since yesterday afternoon, it's rarely been unoccupied. Will it stick? I don't know. But I'll enjoy the victory anyway! ;)
