    Hi folks-
I received a refusal letter for the first tranche of glas. I can appeal in writing if I want.
    What happened was this-
I have the land rented off my father in law. I am claiming the BPS on this land which has commonage, water courses etc. All the entitlements were transferred to my herd no before the glas application.

As I was at work my FIL met with the glas planner and walked the land etc.
Problem is they submitted the plan under my FIL's herd number instead of mine and it was refused as there are no land parcels attached to that herd no.
The glas planner doesn't want to hear about it now says it's not his problem.
FIL not in great health lately so prob never told him to do it on my herd no.
Is there anything I can do now?

From having gone through the appeals process on a different scheme but with a similar mistake I don't think they will entertain you. Your planner made the mistake and that's what you'll be told. That's what happened to me anyway.

Try to get the planner to submit the same plan in Glas 2 under your herd number

Something not adding up here. Who farmed the land in 2014? Who ever farmed the land in 2014 is the only person who was allowed to apply for GLAS on that land in Tranche 1.

How did the planner manage to submit the plan if there was no parcels attached to the herd number? Try to get into Glas 2, closing soon tho.
