Has there ever been a more idiotic TD? Honestly, the guy never has anything to say that's not pie in the sky crap. A few minutes ago on Vincent Brown he said that if we don't pull out of the agreements with Shannon Airport we'd be letting down friends in Iraq and Afganistan who are getting killed by the US Army and they're the ones fueling ISIS. But then went on to say that realistically there is no war against ISIS, there's just random bombings of Syria.

At least he does make sense sometimes. I've never heard a word of sense come from Paul Murphy.

He read too much Karl Marx in his youth, despicable character.

Have to agree with you there Smash...this guy is a complete clown...has a lot to answer for fomenting unrest amongst the dole heads...with his megafone ...then just melts into the middle distance when trouble starts.

In 2003, Enda Kenny voted against allowing the US to use Shannon Airport.

I like Paul Murphy. He annoys the right kind of people...

I think he represents us very well ..looks the part unlike the clown who preceded him.

Certainly better than Flip Flop Martin or the well fed Mary Lou.?

You are a shill for some group pal ...who are they ??

    That's your problem right there.

Life is too short to waste on Vinny B's daily "socialist" soapbox-in-front-of-a-green-screen.

Have to say, I'd agree with Paul Murphy on this.

If we don't stop supporting the US in their flights (including "renditions") through Shannon, we are effectively nullifying our neutrality. When was the referendum on that?

The cause of the wars is rooted in the colonial past, and enflamed by arms dealing and Western attacks on countries they don't like. Except Saudi, because we want their oil.

In effect, we can talk all we like about dictatorships, Muslim fundamentalism, civil and human rights, but unless we walk the walk - all we are doing is laying the seeds of our own destruction for short-term greed.

    And the only winners are.....?

Pretty sure there is a thread on Paul Murphy in the Cafe, either way this is better suited there or in politics
