A MAN who staged a car crash with his partner - and claimed the pair did not know one another - has been jailed for one year.

The fraud by David Ward (30) and Lynsey Ivory (27) was discovered when the insurance company saw that they appeared in each other's Facebook profile pictures, a court has heard.

A former subcontractor for Intel who asked his friend to make a hoax bomb call to the company because he didn’t want to go to work may be ordered to carry out community service.

The result shut down a motorway, disrupted air traffic control and prevented 4,000 Intel staff from going to work.

How on Earth did they think they'd get away with it? Slightly understand the first as greed can be all consuming but the second?!?

The intel fella seems to have been out drinking all night, as was his buddy who made the call. But still ridiculously stupid thing to do.
I am guessing google will be getting a 'right to be forgotten' request soon!
