Hi, looking for recommendations for a better tank.

I'm trying to decide between Aspire Nautilus mini and the kanger sub tank http://app.gearbest.com/clearomizers/pp_193602.html

    Using it with istick30.
Looked on fasttech but don't see much about either one there which I thought was odd...

    Any ideas appreciated!

Out of the 2 subtank no challenge

Very different devices, nautilus has a tighter draw, very comfortable mouth to lung. I recommend the full size, it'll fit perfectly on a 30w iStick.

Subtank mini is great for lung hits if you're into that massive airflow, couldn't get a comfortable mouth to lung from it myself.

    Both great tanks though.

2 totally different devices. I would do some reading before deciding.

Do you want clouds and juice with high VG - sub tank.
Do you want something basic/ smaller that you carry and vape all day - nautilus.

Have both, use 1.5 coils with the subtank, but have found that recently it has started leaking more frequently, and after a quick google I think this is a fairly common problem with these tanks.

So back to the nautilus, and really can't fault it, except for the need to change the coils more frequently than on the subtank.

I use both regularly, my two cents.

Nautilus: Mouth to lung only. Easy to use, no leaking issues, solid performance, decent flavour.

Subtank: RBA section is the only way to go IMO. Better flavour and no leaking issues than with stock vertical coils.

Subtank with RBA will give more flavour and vapour than nautilus but its far more suited to direct lunging.

Currently I've a Nautilus Mini that's my all day vape, the tighter draw is indeed more suited to a regular MTL, too tight for some though. Flavour is good, but not as vibrant as the Subtank's.

I've also found my Subtank Mini V2 with the 1.2 coil in it on the smallest hole is also quite good for a MTL with the added bonus that it seems to handle high VG liquids a bit better than the Nautilus. Looser draw but better vapour production. I find myself using it quite a bit like this also, but I go through coils quite quickly. And while I don't find any leaking issues though with the 1.2 coils, the 0.5 coils can leak quite a bit.

I do use another Subtank (V1, not Plus) I have for direct lung hits in the evenings (find myself getting tired of them relatively quickly so it stays at home), but it has larger holes than the mini and nowhere near as suited to MTL.

Personally, I find it's nice to have the variety and recommend getting both if budget allows. If not I'd probably recommend the Nautilus as I think it's better suited for an all day vape and probably easier to find a configuration with it that you'll like.

Well I turned around and got an ELEAF GS AIR after all that.

The subtank was physically too big to be practical for me, and the place I went in to had no nautilus minis, not much of anything heads wise really, more supermarket end of the range.

But they did have the GS air and I'd forgotten I'd read decent reviews so I went for it.

I'm very happy with it, good airiness, good flavour, good clouds!

Be careful with the GS Air so that you don't drop it. I had one for two weeks and broke it. Replaced it with a cheap tank with a metallic shield and I've just replaced that one too after only a week having also bashed that one too.

If anyone knows of a tank that's actually built like a tank please let me know.

    The Delta (joyetech?) is indestructible.

Subtank Plus 7ml can take a bashing

This happened to me with both the Nautilus mini and the standard Nautilus too. They break very easily. I have a couple of GS air tanks and thankfully neither have broken ... yet! I only use them as side tanks for juices I'm not sure about, but would say it's better than the Nautilus, especially for the price.

I would much prefer the Sub tank over any of those though, the nano is a tidy size, but you do need to be aware it's a very different tank to the Nautilus/Gs air types as already mentioned. You can get 1.2 ohm coils that make mouth to lung inhaling comfortable enough, especially if you fit your own standard narrow drip tip and close down the air holes to the minimum one. But ideally any sub ohm tank, you want to be lung inhaling, with the air intake wide open.

Once you start to lung inhale though ... you never go back.
