Can an taisce appeal a planning application that has been granted even if they did not make a submission during the application process?

As far as I am aware they can, as they are a 'prescribed body' under the planning acts....that means, basically, they have privaliges over and above a regular third party.

As a prescribed body they can make an appeal if they did not make a submission during the application process only if they were not sent notice of the application in accordance with the regulations, otherwise the same rules apply to any prescribed body as any other appellant regarding time limits, etc., but this is just my opinion.
