Trees for carving

    Hi All,

    sorry if wrong place to ask this.

    My partner is looking for a large piece of tree to do some carving.

    Are there places that sell to the public,

    Something about 2-3 feet in diameter and 1 to 2 feet tall.

    Does anyone know if items like this do be for sale ?

    If yes where ? and how much would something like this cost ?

    we have a small farm forest, and would be delighted to sell you a block of timber for carving, we have some ash, white poplar, and scots pine butts in the size you want.
    I also have some burr elm which is dry in large chunks
