Considering this phone now at this price, but the 2GB of RAM scares me - especially with the Snapdragon Chip in the device.
Battery seems great, and the software is pretty stock, which is awesome. The lack of Wireless Charging and the absence of a fingerprint sensor sucks though.

I would dream and dream to have a Nexus 6P, but I can't warrant the price.

If anyone has the device, I'd love to hear your opinion.

All FYI and I don't advocate you do this incase you break anything!

From reading XDA they claim that the single sim version actually also has the dual sim tray on board.
To enable it you need to remove a dummy plastic cover (no tools required) and then flash one of the official dual sim ROMS. Supposedly this doesn't void warranty.

    Edit.. here's the link

Don't bother, unless you want a phone with no warranty. If anything goes wrong like it did with my Moto X 2014, in which the cellular radio failed, and which I only bought at the end of last June, then you might find yourself facing the prospect of needing to use the courts to get your phone repaired.
I thought I was getting a bargain too. Motorola are bad news.

From what I remember reading you bought your phone off a third party from amazon (motorolla themselves maybe). This is not the same as buying directly from Amazon.

Amazon have gone down in my estimation due to shipping speeds, but their customer service is still second to none.

Pretty much 2 for the price of 1 when compared to the Moto play. £100 is a steal.

I never said anything wrong was done by Amazon, and yes I bought it from Motorola themselves via their Amazon store.

Motorola support when i contacted them and explained the problem/fault, told me to send it to their repair centre in Ireland, not back to Amazon, which to me implied they were going to take responsibility for the warranty if I did this.
It was after they got it at the repair place that they started telling me it was out of warranty and repair would be €180.
When I questioned this to the repair centre they said it had been received a day before the warranty expired and that they would cover it. They have the parts on order to arrive at start of December, but status is still showing "out of warranty". About a week ago i got a further notice from Motorola UK saying that I would have to pay for the repairs.
I don't know what the heck is going on. No certainty as I am getting different messages from different departments, being completely messed about.
This is very poor treatment, the worst I have had from any company.
Do you get honestly think this carry on is justified with the purchase of a new phone, whether I bought it straight from Motorola or Amazon or any other store?

Will a Vodafone smart ultra 6, if purchased on amazon, work with an Irish Vodafone sim?

You'd need to get an unlock code. Less than €4 on eBay.

the one on amazon is a single sim version. I just bought the dual sim version on pixmania for €350 including delivery.

The £199.99 price tag on amazon roughly converts to approx €305.

also bought a turbo charger on amazon.co.uk for £22.79
