Cloydagh/Clogrennan Genealogy

Hello! I am researching my Irish ancestors and my limited information has led me to believe that my family came from the Carlow area, perhaps Cloydagh/Clogrennan. Does anyone know of local resources, such as church or cemetery records, that I might be able to consult? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

There's a Genealogy service available upstairs in Carlow Library in the Local Studies Dept.

Until Friday the 11th of December its days are restricted to Mondays & Tuesdays but it's well worth dropping them a line.

Also suggest touching base with Carlow Museum in the same building.

Morf, thanks very much for the tip. My ancestor, also named John Sutton, came to America prior to the 1901/1911 censuses, but there are other Suttons in the census data who may be relatives. More leads to explore!
