Fitted a few 70w led floodlight recently for a few customers. Savage light off them. Just need to watch what brand you use!

It's all about the lumens you would be looking for minimum of 4000 lumens and above to get a solid throw from the light also stick to clearer colours rather than tinted warm

Litetron was the one I was using. Have a 2 year warranty. 70w, 8400 lumens daylight colour. Bit pricey though could be close on €200 to buy. Can get them in 30w and 50w as well

Metal Halide 70w, crowd in Dublin selling reconditioned ones, cheaper than LED and use the same amount of power.

Great light. Last for years. Have a 250w in yard. If u turn them off they have to cool down before they ignite again can take 5 or more mins

Hook it up to a photocell, about a tenner, and no need to turn it on (or off) ;), have mine on a timer as well.

It goes by watts I have a 250w and a 70w. 1000w on for 1 hour = 1 unit so the 250w will cost 1/4 of a unit per hour or 1 unit in 4 hours.
