Hi all just wondering what Sheelin is like for ducks I used to shoot it about 10 years ago and we got good bags off it,but back on it for first time today and the head of birds didn't seem like the numbers used to be. Can anyone help or was it just one of those days. Cheers all.

Diver numbers are nowhere near what they were back 10-15 years ago l, in fact I can't remember last time I saw a Pochard; same on Ree, Ennell etc. Big winter duck bags are history, tell your grand kids about them cos it's getting worse and worse year after year.

Probably the same, the winter ducks just don't show any more. Went down Ree three times last season bagged half a dozen teal for my trouble, boats up this year. Sad but true.
