Avensis clock resetting itself/ inside lights not working

    Anyone any ideas or if its a simple fix? Every time I start the car is resets to 12:00.
    Also I notice that the inside lights up near the inside mirror (off/door/on) are not working.
    I recently got a friend to change a bulb and I think this has been happening since then.
    Anyone any ideas?

    I'd say it could be the dome fuse. Boot light should not be working too.

    It's behind the panel under your mirror switch, it's a 7.5A fuse.

    If the dome fuse is gone, you'll get the clock issue, lights on reminder won't work, boot light won't work, and interior lights won't work.

    Cheers, yep all not working. Do I simply just go into a car parts place and ask for a 7.5 A Dome fuse for an avensis?

    theres another fuse box under the bonnet beside the battery. that has the tool in it for taking out the fuses. there might be some spare fuses in there too.
