Stop ending the movie before the credits have rolled!
Stop attaching your own speeded up credits, not allowing the viewer to digest the film!
Stop ruining the momentum of the film by having the ****ing lottery on in between the bloody film!

Stop watching RTE. It's pure rubbish. Problem solved.

There are enough alternatives to choose from nowadays.

    Hardly bother with TV anymore.

I don't watch much in the way of tv, other than game of thrones. I certainly don't watch RTE. The missus was watching Polar Express. I nearly blew a fuse when they interrupted the movie for the lottery and then when they abruptly ended the movie, it forced me to vent it on here.

They've been interrupting their family Saturday afternoon movies like this for years.

It’s so long since I watched a film with ad breaks and other interruptions that the whole idea seems weird to me now, even though that’s how I experienced most films for the first time growing up.

...and most importantly of all: stop ****ing cropping 2.35:1 movies!

Why do RTE always take the year off the film info ?

Christ, I can't even remember the last time I watched a film on Irish TV.

The last time I watched a film on TV itself was True Lies when I was in America earlier this summer. I like that film but it was an awful slog to get through because of the incessant ad breaks almost every 10 - 15 minutes on the particular channel it was on, I dunno how anyone could regularly watch a film being interrupted on such a frequent basis.

    THE END

Drives me mad so it does.
