Do you panic to get whats on the list ?
Do you have a list, or do you get whats available.
I dont do lists, but I will ask what one thing she would like
and try to get that to the best of my ability if I can.
The reason I ask is my son and his wife get into a huge panic
to try get EVERY thing on my grandsons lists that it seems
the whole month of November is lost running around in a panic .
Is this the same for most people or not. Thanks

Online shopping delivered to work. The list is limited to three items and then we add couple of surprises. I certainly have no intention running around and trying to find some hard to get toy that will be ignored 30 seconds after it's taken out of the box.

Kids santa presents they were asking for were bought start of November, same as every year then anything else can be picked up along the way. No point getting stressed about it

Get my two around about October time (halloween) that's the stress gone, (mix of Amazon and smiths) then the rest are easy, two God sons, parents, then the wife.

The rest of my (big) family can make do with Kris kindle.

Christmas is a pain in the hoop.

Put an orange in a sock over the mantelpiece. Be grand.

    I have a formula,well a rough one anyway.

The big present (bike, console, tablet etc), something smelly, books, something outdoor, something soft or cuddly, board game, etc. A lot of these don't need to be expensive. It works for me though. And can keep cost under control.

Have Santa mostly finished. Have to pick up a few yet but 100-50 will finish it off.

Nah no real list here - tend to wing it. It helps that we do not do lists - or we do not do the Santa thing or any of that.

I just tend to pay attention during the year and get something that is meaningful to them. Preferably - where possible - I do not buy gifts but either find a way to offer the gift of my time - or I make something myself.

No, I dont panic about christmas presents for the kids at all.
Sure doesnt Santa buy and deliver them ?

Nothing for me to do at all.

No never panic and I like a low key family based Christmas.

One of my children wants something called a fire stick from Amazon so I looked it up and I realised I hadn't the foggist notion what it does:confused:

Terrible thing to say but technology is getting beyond me.

I panicked once when I was trying to get my son a 'Turbo Man' action figure. Myself and another father called Sinbad became engaged in a series of comically hilarious incidents as we each attempted to procure the toy for our respective sons.

Good choice, if they're not happy with that present then you can beat them with it.
