What's the most food you ate in one sitting

Whats the most food you ever consumed in one sitting?

I once had 2 18 inch pizzas in the space of an hour. But the absolute most I ever had, bar none was when I did one of those challenges in a greasy spoon cafe in Liverpool, where its like 'finish the huge portion of food and its all free'
It was like, 10 slices of bacon, 12 sausages, 12 eggs, there was at least 2 steaks there as well, portion of chips, tomatoes, onions, beans, mushrooms, 8 slices of toast, 6 bits of black pudding, etc.

15 course meal at Italian wedding. Spread out over a few hours, say I managed about 7 or 8 courses. Helped that the food was orgasmic!

If its not free, its a waste of money.

I often thought about bringing a handbag into one of these places and filling it up and getting lunch and dinner too. Or do they watch you eat everything on the plates.

I ate a whole KFC family bucket once.

If I'd been any hungrier I might even have eaten what was in it.

No they watch you the whole time.

At least you are honest and didn't attempt to call it a manbag.

Did you ask them to bring more food and they said "There is no more food." ?

Once ate 19 chicken wings. Not proud. Less proud of not being able to man up and finish the last one.

A manbag would be bigger, it would fit more sausages in.

11 hard boiled eggs... Could probably have done another couple, but ran out. Didn't smell right for a few days.

I can't eat much; since my gallbladder was removed I get full very quickly.
So you'll find it pathetic when I tell you the most I ever had was:

    -Caesar salad
-Huge roast dinner consisting of roast beef, Yorkshire pud, mash, roast potatoes, stuffing, broccoli, carrots, peas and gravy.
    -Big Knickerbockerglory
    -Three glasses of wine.

    I was STUFFED.

    You may snicker.

hang on, 19 chicken wings is nothing unless you are eating the bones! There is at most a mouthful of chicken on each one. It's about the equivalent of 2 chicken breasts worth (less I'd say!) of meat.

I'm 6ft, 90KG (athletic) - about 1.5 hrs in the gym daily + 500m swim ... I couldn't even eat all of that in one sitting.

    So... well done you!

I don't bother making chicken wings unless I've at least 20 to myself.

According to the internet 1 wing = 1oz (roughly 30g) , the average chicken breast is around 300g, so yeah, 20 should be roughly 2 chicken breasts.

calories bumped up by the gallon of sticky hot sauce, but not so much in terms of protein volume!

Had the 9-course winter tasting menu (with matching wines) in Vendôme restaurant near Cologne last year. It was an extraordinary meal in extraordinary surroundings. I started to struggle after 7 courses though. Dessert is my least favourite course, so I wasn't really in raptures for the final two courses as I was with the first seven.

Feck all meat on a chicken wing in fairness.
    I wouldn't even call that a meal.

    I love Xmas dinner!

Have been pretty sick lately, 3 operations and haven't been able to eat solid foods for the last 7 weeks. The thought of Xmas dinner is what's keeping me going.

    What was the dessert?

A quince terrine with a tarragon ice cream, apple foam and goat yogurt 'snow.

A rhubarb cake with cremeux white and ginger sherbert.

Some petit fours and chocolate truffles as well.

Stunning, but my appetite was sated at that stage.

A multi-pack of Tayto Wheelies, Chickatees and Snax. Twenty-four packs in total, over the space of an hour or two.

This is the kind of thing I should really post anonymously in Personal Issues.

When my uncle was at summer camp with the FCA they had a hard boiled egg competition. He said he ate 28. He'd have eaten two more but he ran out of salt.

In Tenerife the resturants are open on Christmas Day
I had a big mixed salad two portions of potatoes and a whole x-large rotisserie chicken
I regularly eat a whole chicken but on Tenerife they grow these class corn fed big chickens that are delicious

2 tubs of haagen daz, a 6 pack of cheese and onion crisps and a large bar of Cadbury's caramel.

4 bratwurst sausages with 2 bread rolls. 4 bowls of bran flakes. 3 apples. 2 Bananas. A pack of wine gums and a pack of those kinder bars. 3 bottles of German beer I think as well? Oh and now that I think about it probably a lot of slices of brown bread in there. I was very high at the time. Without getting disgusting the toilet journey after was me contemplating my last words on earth.

Ah so you're a real "regular" kinda person!

After the night shift I'm a real scavenger and not proud of it tbh! I've scoffed down a 200g bar of galaxy after a 'family size' packet of hunky dorys (the salt and vinegar ones oh yeah!). That's in the car on the way home at 4am...

Then I lie in bed wondering why I can't bloody sleep :(

Sometimes anxiety gets the better of me and I can get chronically self concious. This one time I was recovering from a bad hangover and fancied a snack box from my local chipper. I call the number and for some reason I didn't want the takeaway owner to know that I was the type of loser who sits at home in a darkened room eating fried chicken.
So I panicked while making the order and ask for a family box. 6 pieces of chicken and 3 large fries.

For the next 2 days I could barely move for indigestion.

    Sad I know.
