Dublin Bus taxsaver ticket use on Luas

    Hi,

    just wondering if you can top up an annual Dublin Bus taxsaver card with cash just for the occasional journey on the luas? Figured it would be cheaper than getting the combined luas and bus card but not sure its possible to do.

    Just out of curiosity would the leap 90 discount apply if you have an annual taxsaver?

    Once again - there is no such thing as a "taxsaver card".

    It's a LEAP card, onto which a monthly or annual ticket is loaded.

    LEAP cards can operate in two modes:
    1) Using the ticket
    2) Using the epurse

    If you use the epurse, then the LEAP90 discount will apply to any subsequent journeys that start within 90 minutes of the first (excepting Rail to Rail and LUAS to LUAS).

    However it does not apply to a journey taken using a ticket first and then the epurse - such journeys are treated as completely separate trips.
