Should we be critical of Islam? If so, how, and for what?

    A lot of discussions about recent events and or Islam has turned into discussion of the issues of Islam. What does boards think, is Islam itself the problem, the people practising the religion, or both?

    For my two cents, maybe a bit of both. We should be critical of all religions, as thats the only way people are made aware of issues, and thus we fix them. But its also the way so many people in so many countries practise it as well, although I wouldn't describe myself as knowing much about it.

    Discussing these things only spreads the mess around.... history proves this.

    I'm in favor of the "all the sane/sober people on this side of the room... all the fruitcakes over the other side" approach to such worldly matters! :D

    They all rival each other for their production of nutcases throughout history, that's for sure!

    Almost like it's a competition... lol... (Islam def taking the title this year!) :D
