Boiler heating up but none of the rads are

    The rads were working yesterday.
    Today none of them are. The boiler is heating up fine though.
    Do I need to bleed the rads or is it something else?
    Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks

    Probably circulating pump. Maybe even a motorised valve, depending on your wiring.
    First try putting motorised valve manually on. If that doesn't work, check out your circulating pump.
    I am assuming your room stat is set to call for heat.

    This is all a bit weird. I turned on the boiler again just 20 minutes ago and now the he rads have heated up nicely BUT.....the immersion tank which naturally would heat up once the heating is turned on, is not heating up.
    The water in the taps is a touch warmer than cold, that's about it

    All working again. I've no explanation for all this but a happy household so no complaints

    Could be one of the devices that I mentioned is on it's last legs. Maybe a bit of air that sorted itself out.
