Anyone know of a company that will pick up a car in the UK and deliver it to Ireland?

Pretty much what the title says. I've been on the look out for a specific car, and I've just not seen them come up for sale on any of the usual Irish sites. I've found one that might be worth nabbing in the UK. Trouble is, I don't have a trailer license yet, so I can't go to collect it myself. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that could collect it from the current owners house and deliver it to Ireland (doesn't matter if delivery is to my place or just to the nearest port or whatever). I can have a mate pick it up for me in Ireland. The car is currently down near Cornwall, so its a bit out of the way.

Also, if anyone knows of some site that I should be checking regularly for an Audi S4 B5 (or any of those sorts of Audis), let me know. Thanks lads.

They are expensive enough though. When boss bought a jeep in manchester it worked out cheaper and faster for him to pay ferry flight fuel and pay me to hop it over.

Make sure and do a hpi check motchecker and some type of mechanical inspection on it. An mot test type inspection should be enough.

Fly over and drive it back yourself? Or find someone with some spare time who might do it for you.

I've thought about it, but what are the legalities of it? I'm still on the auld N plates. Theres no chance I could get insured on a car with that size of engine yet (was planning on keeping it off the road for a year or so while I do any bit of work necessary to put it back to as pristine as possible). Is there some sort of temporary insurance I could get that would let me bring it back here? Odds are it would cost a fortune anyway, so it might work out easier to have it delivered for the bit extra.

Isn't that obvious though? The company providing the service are entitled to make a degree of profit!

Ofc. Just pointing it out. The time delay would be the thing for most people.

Not really when they can load up a truck full of cars for people. I bet they don't pay THAT much more than someone driving a single car over.
