    Hi,

I have wireless Internet coming into my house.

I want to sent it to my workshop just across the fields. Its about 120m MAX with a ditch in between. What wireless equipment would I need to get to do this.

    Thanks

Is your workshop powered on the same ESB circuit as your house ie is there a line running from the fuseboard in the house to the workshop thats 120m away? Extenders where you plug in one and hardwire it to your modem and the other in the extended area (ie workshop) such as TP link will only work is they are both on the same electrical circuit

    They are called homeplugs.

Homeplugs may well struggle with that run length, if there arent any breakers in the way.

Ubiquiti wifi kit will do a perfect point to point for this.

Thanks. no there not on the same circuit.

I will have a look at the Ubiquiti kits.

Are they easy enough to set up.
I assume its wire from my aerial port in my router to ubiquiti thing
then wire from other ubiquiti to thing to router in workshop.

Nah, don't try and have the TX in your router power a directional antenna, better to buy an all in one unit.

You run ethernet up to the mounting at either side, mount one of those babys and away you go pretty much. 2.4Ghz is a mess so 5Ghz is the better option.
