    Thought this was quite good.

Alanis Morrissette has appeared on the James Cordon show, doing a duet with him of an updated version of Ironic for modern times

Naturally, there's a lot of poking fun at technology.

Twenty years later, Alanis Morissette is ready to give her big hit, "Ironic," a modern update.

The 41-year-old songstress appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden Monday where she was invited to perform her famous song, but she and the late-night host changed the lyrics a bit to reflect society's more tech-savvy age.

"An old friend sends you a Facebook request / And you only find out they're racist after you accept," Morissette began the song.

From there on out it became a back-and-forth between the two performers.

"There's free office cake on the first day of your diet / It's like they announce a new iPhone the day after you buy it / Isn't it ironic? / Don't you think," James Corden continued.

"It's like swiping left on your future soul mate / It's like a Snapchat that you wished you had saved / It's a traffic jam when you tried to use Waze," they both sang together during the chorus.

Pretty sure there's a few in there many of us will relate to. Very well done, I thought.

has Ed Byrne given it his seal of approval yet?

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

As in the original, they're not really ironic though.

    That's the irony.

She should have looked ironic up in the dictionary before recording that song. I suppose none of the producers or any one in her record label did either, so the atrocity was a team effort.

True, which is probably why she included
"It's singing ironic when there are no ironies,"

Did he sing the line "it's like the fat kid at school/being seen, for some bizarre reason, as cool".

I'm still shocked that James Corden is as successful as he is in America.

They love a British accent in the US.

Comes from a long line of Brits that are more popular in the US than the UK, such as Piers Morgan, Thatcher, and Benny Hill.

He can't act or sing,he's a crap interviewer and tries his best to act humble anytime I've seen him on TV.
    What exactly is his talent?
