Faulty dishwasher

    Hello all,
    I've a Bosch dishwasher 4 years old. It won't turn on now, getting a red light saying check water. Water ok at inlet n the filter is clear. Any ideas anybody please?

    pull it out and tilt it forwards as much as you can and try it again , let us know how you get on.

    did water come out from under the dw when you tilted it, you may need to tilt it again with the door facing the ground as its the leak detection switch that's stopping it, the switch is normally activated by water in the base of the machine

    Tried again but no change. Check water light still on

    there is also the possibility that the solenoid valve is open circuit but my experience with these has nearly always been an activated flood switch, probably time to call in the troops from bosch
