    Computrainer in excellent condition.

    Comes with :
    two power supplies
    two polar HR receivers
    one ear HR sensor
4/5 Video courses of IM races (license to be transferred)
    Racerone software with license unused
    All the other Computrainer software
    Polar heart rate strap

Computrainers have a reputation for being bomb proof and lasting decades. This one is in perfect condition and is 4 years old. Loved and cared for. It completely changed me as a cyclist and can do the same for you too. I really don't want to sell it but I have no choice.

    €600 euro

This was a general query about computrainers and trainers in general to be honest.

12 sprocket knew me (or at least was aware of me) from another life, was looking into "smart" trainers and saw the post and reached out to get information on trainers.

There was a phone call but it was about accuracy of computrainers and kickrs with respect to SRMs and powertaps. There was also advice given to me about my training as he read my log back in 2003/2004 when I started in tri and he is an individual whose opinion I value.

I will be sharing with 12 sprocket an analysis of kickr versus computrainer accuracy against calibrated SRMs over a range of intensities and durations - thats what was discussed off boards. I'm happy to share the findings here too.

(FYI Computrainer tracks a PT exactly and the SRM as would be expected given power measurement site. Jury is still out on the Kickr. )

That's all well and good but how are we supposed to know that?

You're not. It was a mistake. I'll abide by the rules.

I was merely trying to make sure that no one felt something underhand was happening.

The computrainer is still for sale. No offers have been made :)

Gadetra it sounds a bit heavy to be threatening about closing threads and cards etc... I apologise to Tunney if I caused him any embarrassment. I clearly didn't understand your rules as I don't think I have ever tried to buy anything here before and rarely even look at this section.
so IF on this section again I will surely be more aware of the rules and will bear them in mind

If you wish to discuss moderation please PM the mod (in this case gadetra). Continuing to discuss it in-thread takes the thread off-topic and questioning of mod actions in-thread is not permitted

Now if either of you think gadetra was heavy handed, my policy is to dish out the cards first and ask questions later...

Any questions, please PM me - do not respond to this post in-thread

    Thanks
