    Dundalk day again.

Going to rob the write up from irishracing. Sums up my analysis

Eight of the nine participants in this feature could be labelled as regulars at Dundalk. ROACHDALE HOUSE (an each-way pick in a highly competitive contest) is the exception, as he begins at the County Louth venue on start number two for the Paul Flynn yard. The Mastercraftsman gelding did have an outing on an artificial surface before, when seventh around this time last year at Kempton. He was with Richard Fahey at that stage, a yard under whose guidance yielded three victories. Roachdale House has since had a stint with Dermot Weld, and he comes here now on the back of a hurdling effort at Wexford on October Bank Holiday Monday. The four-year-old certainly has the talent to make his presence felt, if the fitting of a hood makes a positive impact. It could do too, given that Roachdale House has been known to race keenly.

    2 pt win.

I have had 1 pt win on Split the atom in the 18 30 and Shukkov in the 20 00 who look to have been given a chance by the handicapper and look decent value at 10s and 12s respectively.

    Dare Me 14/1

If staying the 3m distance on his first try at the trip, I think the bang in form Venetia Williams has a great chance of landing this contest for the 4th time in the past 6 years with her 11 year old charge Dare Me. A relatively lightly raced for a horse of his age, Dare Me has been a solid stick for his trainer over fences and I think he comes here off a workable mark of 143. A horse with an excellent record fresh, Dare Me was in the process of running a big race on his seasonal reappearance at the start of 2015 when a faller at the last in a good race at Cheltenham (had recovered from a very bad mistake mid race) and I certainly think first time up is a very good time to catch him. Like so many of Venetia's horses, Dare Me is proven in testing ground and should relish the prevailing conditions and I'm sure he'll be spot on for this valuable early season prize. As shown by her excellent record in this race and from my experience, Venetia Williams is definitely a trainer who targets specific races with her horses and given that Dare Me is her only representative you've got be confident she fancies his chances. With Liam Treadwell taking the ride for the first time, stamina has to be the big sticking point on his first try over this far but he comes from a good family with plenty of stamina in it and I think he'll be ok. Given his trainer's record in the race, 14/1 looks absolutely huge for this 11 year old gelding and if seeing out the trip adequately I'm confident he'll run a huge race which will hopefully enhance Venetia's fine record in this contetst.

    dundalk for me tomorrow
Each way the 4 of them and a cheeky yankee

Multivitz @ 6/1 good draw, great jockey, ran ok in a couple of maidens without winning but wasnt battered, expecting her to go might close
Slashtop @ 9/1 good draw, running off 75, won a claimer here last week, good claime up taking off 7 and if she breaks from the gate she may get an easy lead (should mention definite cliff horse this year for me!)
Credit the Giver @ 5/1 dont think this will last, Donacha rides , poor ride lto by his sister, can see this going off a lot shorter and is on a winnable mark
Brokopondo @7/1 not a great draw, i dont think the drop back in trip will be an issue given how he travelled last week and should be go close

    Best of luck all

torn between Shukkov & Shake The Bucket in that race, might have to dutch them with a small reverse f/c

Has anyone any idea why GREY IS DE COLOUR is fav for the 7.00 Dundalk. I see headgear is applied for the first time but his form so far is rotten to say the least.
Be grateful if anyone had an angle on this

You guys should look @ race caller for Tips some really knowledgeable tipsters on there. Not saying boards isn't good but really the standard there is exceptional. Just look at the tips put up today by Strong Word in the forum. Put up a glut of winners today one at twenty to one then to top it off advised brosnen and the winner of the last in Dundalk in E/W double. Different Gravy. Double was 119 to one. Few guys following him today made a fortune!!!! He was on fire all day!!

I look at racecaller most days.

Strong word picks a winner/ew in nearly every race daily, again some days he could hit and others none might be close. Not profitable backing all the picks long term I mean honestly.

Shanto finds some gems in irish racing also.

No I usually wouldn't follow him he was just in very good form today before he put up that double on the Dundalk thread, which in fairness were only two advised. There is a good level of knowledge on the site. Used to follow this Tyson lad on it was very good for big priced winners. Have to say some good tipsters on here as well. But I suppose half the fun in racing is making your own choices!
