CF Cards - Nikon d300?

I am currently using a 16gb Trancend 133x memory card in my d300
It shows from formatted 770 photographs can be taken on the top screen.
Camera set to take photos in in Raw format.
Well, I may be in the situation of needing to take lots of photos over a short few days, so in case I miss some good ones I bought a 32gb Kingston 266x card.
When I insert this and format it I get a strange message on the top screen instead of number of shots available.
It looks like { 1.5 }
Am I to assume this is just a short version of 1,500?
Just need to be sure.
