Registered on time and applied on time 3 months ago for the grant. Wondering when the €100 will be paid. Thanks

    Hi stef22,

    Thanks for your query.

Regarding your payment for the Water Conservation Grant, we would advise you contact the Water Grant Support Team on 1890 100 043 and a member of their team will address your query.

If you have any other Irish Water or water related queries, please let us know and we will be more than happy to help.

    Kind regards,

That would be a no then, think its because next to nobody has paid them so they have cash flow problems and had to choose between staff bonuses, paying your grant or for a decent telephone service. If you wait long enough maybe they will go away

It's nothing to do with IW tbf, it's the Dept of social protection

we have no landline , to call that 1890 number from a mobile  would cost 50c per minute and i am expected to wait 46 minutes !
we are part of a private water scheme and have been paying water for years.

Others who refuse to pay water charges did get the €100 grant , the hell with this.
