Accident Castleknock

    I came across an accident in Castleknock yesterday. Cyclist knocked down by a car.
    Didn't look good. Ambulance on scene. Just wondering if anyone knows how he is?

    Suspect I passed the same accident myself (junction with Auburn Avenue?), and did think the continued presence of the ambulance could only be good (i.e. cyclist shaken but nothing too serious), or very very bad (nothing to be gained from any hurry). Still holding out hope on it being former, as the only "official" reference I can find to it is a tweet from @DCCTraffic:

    I was there when the accident happened . I was in the yellow box waiting for traffic to move .

    Couple of points:

    1. Please do not provide any details of anything that happened, particularly concerning cause or fault, if there is any chance of proceedings being taken. Please provide any relevant information to AGS

    2. This is not the place for anyone to find out about the condition of their loved ones/someone they may know. Please do not provide information or speculate over the condition of anyone involved

    If a reputable news organisation provides any details or AGS issue pleas for information/witnesses it is of course fine to provide links to or summarise those requests here
