    hey, so i spotted this and really like the look of it. i just wondered if this is a good spec for the car? might be worth a look.

    Nope. D5 is 2.4l, the one in the ad is 2.0.

    Decent engine with 136ps, but the gearing just feels a bit wrong to make the most of the engine.

    No common issues with that engine, it's the same engine as the Mondeo of the same age so is well proven at this stage.

    A lot of kit as standard in that car.

    I do like it but can't help feel its a bit of an old mans car!! Are they viewed as that do you think?

    I've seen that for a while now, not sure why it's not been shifted yet so get it checked out properly.
    If I was getting another S80, would definitely go for an Auto. Plus, the 2.4 is a much better drive, probably more economical too
    As for is it an old man's car? Coming from VW's, Audi's, BMW's....the comfort, oh god the comfort, couldn't give a fuc* if it's thought of as an old man's car:D
