I'm thinking about investing in a pair, but I was wondering what are people currently using? They can be pricy enough, are they worth it? What thickness do you use? 2mm seems quite thick under a wetsuit but I have seen 0.5mm advertised on some websites. What do people recommend?

Never wear anything under my wetsuit, sounds like a waste of money unless you're having issues with friction in lets say "delicate" areas.

I dunno, I like wearing something under my wetsuit, helps keep it all together so to speak, plus it also avoids those "won't someone please think of the children" moments on a windy beach when towels can be unreliable.

I just wear normal shorts/swimming shorts. Never thought to buy a pair especially.

Yeah i usually wear a pair of Billabong Furnace Thermo shorts under my wettie. They are 1mm I like them for 2 reasons: they give an extra bit of warmth esp in the small of my back and secondly post surf I can peel my wettie off without a juggling act with a towel or whatever.

    I like em

Fair enough :) I got one of those robie things for the same reason pretty much.

Ya, I like the idea of this, would also stop the shorts I'm wearing at the moment from rolling up when I pull my wetsuit on.
