    Hi My car insurance is due for renewal - I'm going to phone a nbr of companies for a quote - would anybody please have a list of companies to phone & their phone numbers please. Thanks

    If you look at the top of the forum page one of the threads is called

    The first post in that thread has the list you're looking for.

    That list is far from comprehensive and doesn't really cover the long list of insurance brokers who have exclusive schemes the general public have never heard of. It is a question of trying online, phoning insurance companies who deal directly with the public and a good broker (see link below)
