Has anyone tried any of these courses that claim to make u a better runner? And make every stride more beneficial and reduce the risk of injury??
If so are they worth the money and what are the best options and ones to avoid?
    Discuss please.

Hi straps, I haven't tried one but I will definitely give Catherina McKiernan's chi running course a go at some stage on the future.

I've done Catriona McKiernans course and found it helpful. It is no silver bullet though, you get some tips, drills, exercises etc but you've got to do them for a long time before they become second nature and you don't really have to think about it. She is really good at picking out your weaknesses though, turns out I didn't really use my left arm..

Overall I thought it was a worthwhile day out for a little over the cost of 2 physio sessions

Lift your knee abit so that your whole foot ends up hitting the ground at the same time was the advice from some pair of Lads on the Today(?) show on RTE1 a few months back. Suppose to prevent injury.

I tried it out after....it's very hard to change how you run.

I did this type of course with Mary Jennings down at grand canal dock. It was very worthwhile, find I relax more on my runs. Runs I would've done before now take less effort. I find my recovery times are much quicker.
