What do I do?

I was away with a friend yesterday, my boyfriend was at home and he text at about 9.30pm to say he needed to update his phone and it might be off for a while.

That was fine. I rang him a couple of times and there was no answer. Still no answer at 11am this morning. I just got home and he's not here, his phone and debit card are though. He even left his key.

I don't know what to do. There are a few numbers on his phone but no clues as to where he could be. He does leave his phone when he goes out, but he would contact me in some other form.

Do you have any reason to be concerned, I have to be honest if I came home and my husband wasn't here I would just assume he had gone out and would be back whenever. If it helps maybe log onto his Facebook and see if there are any indications there of where he might have gone, maybe message or call a few of his friends to see if they might know. Try not to worry, its probably something very innocent.

Does he like football? Could be gone to pub to watch a game.

Probably a bit early to be worrying.

Text his mate to get an idea

Where is he supposed to be right now. What would his usual routine be?

Don't panic. There is probably a simple explanation.

I used to live above my OH and I came home from work one day and his front door was ajar, his windows were open. I went in. His phone was lying on the table. His keys were on the table by the door. I panicked. I was thinking all sorts.

An hour later, he walks in the door. He'd gone to work. But he was playing video games right before and was about to be late so he just ran out the door, not giving a second thought to anything.

    Don't panic.

I know, I knew there was something wrong though. Even if he did go on beer he would never leave it so long not to contact me. He was beaten up and had his wallet stolen.

Wasn't expecting to hear that. Hope he is OK, and that the scumbags who did it have been caught.

Thanks everyone, he's tucked up in bed with his game yoke. The thread can probably be closed now. Thanks again.
