A couple of us want to go for a week away and just rent a house for a weekend or a week in a city after the leaving cert. can anyone recommend anywhere to go?

Is there any like nightclubs there or anything to go out?

A group from my school are looking at Lehinch (Co.Clare), a teacher was telling us she went there about 5/6 years ago (with college friends) during the summer and it was one of the best times she's ever had!
Lehinch is huge for tourists so it gets packed during the summer.

Thurles as a town is dead really. It's only a small town with very few actual amenities. There are clubs but very poor clubs.

I like the idea of somewhere like Lahinch. Galway would also be a good suggestion
