Thinking of getting a cheap polytunnel for lambing circa 30 ewes.

Do ye think something like this would work:

I could strengthen the sides by putting up sheep gates.

    What ye think?

Be grand, I have small one beside house here for pedigrees as yard 2 miles away. It's handy out, just make sure and put it on concrete

Why the concrete? I was just going to put it in the garden and bed them down with straw. Garden is on a slope with good drainage.

Would definitely keep it off concrete but set the poles in concrete bases about a foot squares two foot deep !the heat inside the house will crack the ground making ideal drainage keeping the straw dry and the light killing any gems
would love to put one up for rearing calves
let me know please what price and ate they strong enough in your opinion for calves up to five months old

Maybe wrong but think all new sheep housing needs to be concreted now

Not sure re. pollution regs. but know that in REPS 4 if you had sheep housed for more than 6 weeks then floors needed to be concreted.Left the paperwork needing a "creative" input at times here before last floors were done.
