    Hey all,

Currently rocking an old build with an AM3 socket mobo and a Phenom II. I'd like to upgrade to something more modern.

    Usage: Gaming, mostly, at 1200p

    Budget: €250-300

    Parts I can re-use:

    - 8 gigs of CL9 DDR3 RAM (Ripjaws)
    - OCZ StealthXStream II 700w PSU
    - MSI R9 380 4GB GPU
    - Carbide 200R case
    - SSD/HDD's
    - Cables/Misc etc.

    Suggestions appreciated.

    i5 4460 + some h97 board, should be €250.

Can't see anything wrong with the above. Just note that you can't overclock this mobo/cpu combo, but honestly the step up from the phenom is pretty massive so you won't need to.

    Thanks folks.

Any suggestions on a specific h97 board?
