Metal Corrugated Cladding for new build

Hi all, I am trying to source a cheap (even agricultural grade) corrugated metal cladding for a section of wall cladding on a new build. Ideally this needs to be powder coated to a select RAL colour (I know there goes the cheap) but might be able to work with off the shelf grey colour. Anyone any contact of where I might source this here or in the UK - also anyone who has used this before can share their experience/details/pictures - need to convince the better half away from cedar cladding due to price ;)

Don't forget the noise. Wind, rain etc. Happens.

Go to your local farmers co-op or google agri building builders in your area.

We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

I have used it as a roofing material in a tourist building once that was designed to look like an old farm building. If it's just for wall cladding I would look for second hand stuff that would be a lot easier to paint. I take it that this is not forming a water proof part of the construction. The usual agri stuff is not designed to be painted straight away it should be weathered first. The prefinished stuff will look abit industrial. An option is to look at the Tegral fibre cement agri sheets. I used them on many a roof for public buildings. Personally I think a nice natural slate may work well. Or even zinc cladding if you have a bit to spend.

Even a "high quality" expensive sheet type will be cheaper than cedar cladding!

Does Svk do this type of sheeting? Can't see it being cheap tho.

Yes they do. If it was that expensive the farmers would not be using it

thanks for all the replies, have since found a few potential suppliers - most of the agri ones offer either poly or PVC coating to a select colour range (€6.50 - €8.20 per sqm respectively) which is very appealing from a cost point of view - im just concerned that colour mightn't last that well and while I am hoping for a very rural aesthetic, detailing and finish is key to make this successful...

I then contacted Tegral who offer their Fineline 19 specifically for this purpose and at €12/sqm its quite a bit more expensive but for 100sqm its probably worth it - with a 30 year colourcoat guarantee! See attached pic of a corner window, I don't think this is Tegral but a similar aesthetic to what im looking for. I have also attached a barn house and an extension - would be interested to hear what people think! I personally love it but its probably like marmite!

Anyone know of any projects (even small scale commercial projects) where this has been used or direct experience of using it - I would love to visit a few examples before committing to it? I have asked Tegral and they haven't provided much detail as yet...also any details on how to work around window heads/sills/jambs would be appreciated!

This is just providing a rainscreen so doesn't need to be sealed or anything - also noise isn't an issue as I have over 300mm insulation and the cladding will be on an independent frame from the masonry wall.

Zinc cladding, absolutely if budget permitted - however way too expensive, too easy to damage and due to the interlocking/standing seam profile a nightmare to replace a damaged panel

I deal with Rainscreen for a living. Have used Corrugated on my own build.
