    hey everyone,

Just wondering is it normal that despite receiving an email of confirmation a week ago that i haven't been charged to my card yet? The same has also happened for the hotel I booked on Booking.com. I'm more so afraid of my flight/ hotel not having been booked properly than getting a free flight because I know Ryanair wouldn't let that happen!!

    Any help appreciated. Thanks guys

Usually 'Booking.com' don't charge your Card. You would be charged at the Hotel, so I wouldn't worry about that one.
As for Ryanair, did you get a confirmation email from them ? Complete with a confirmation number ? If so, I wouldn't worry about it. The payment should go through eventually.

edit; The Ryanair email will be named "Ryanair Travel Itinerary".

Any chance your credit card has been cancelled in the meantime due to fraud or something?

For Ryanair, can you retrieve the booking on their website, can you check-in?

For the hotel, unless it was a prepaid rate then no charge will be taken until you check-in and present your card or fail to check-in on the day of arrival where they will charge to the card details you booked with.

If you are concerned about the hotel booking then find the phone number for the hotel and check directly with them that the booking has gone through.

Okay I should be good with Booking.com.
Ryanair sent me an email with a confirmation and it said on a slip that i got from the bank that they charged me but when I checked my balance the next day it wasn't included.
Thanks for your reply by the way!

Depending on your bank, it may take a couple of days to appear. I know with PTSB it usually takes a while.

Thanks for your reply. It's been about two weeks now since my booking, I have confirmation from both booking.com and ryanair but my balance is yet to go down.
