Belfort TKO, 1st round, head kick.

Hopefully Hendo retires afterwards for the sake of his brain.

Has cummins a chance of beating Glover? I don't particularly like glover for some reason

Really looking forward to this event, never taught I'd say that about a card in Brazil but there's some really good fights on paper here!

Gasan Umalatov is basically Cathal Pendred. They're so similar. He even looks the same as him (minus beard)!

Why did Souza goto the ground? He knocked Skelly down a couple of times. If he had of kept it standing he probably would have sparked him or at least knocked him silly for a few seconds to jump on him and start GnP from a better position.

Well that didn't last long between Guida & Tavares

Gutted Im sure. I didn't put bet on, I put 1 together but decided against it just before tv pre lims started. I had Souza by KO in it so I would have been cursing him

Does fight pass not have the rights to show Fox Sports 1 analysis? They cut Kenny Florian off mid-sentence and displayed the placeholder screen.

Fightpass prelims and the prelims are different streams if you're using the app. Just need to switch I think.

This was in the Prelims, they showed some FS1 analysis, in between fights and then stopped showing it in the middle of the analysis, showing the commercial break style screen.

Ridiculous stoppage! Not only was he fully conscious, the arm around the neck was coming loose! Idiot ref!

Wasn't Almeida in trouble in his last fight until he pulled off a stunning win?

Almeida in the black and white, Birchak in the white and black.

Does my feckin head in! Sort the shorts out Reebok ye fools! It's confusing.

He so totally was but he is a guy that absolutely brings it he clearly doesn't have an idea what a boring fight is for a spectator give the man a bonus :D

I feel like Cummings is such a waste of potential. If he hadn't ended up spending time in jail for stupid **** and crossed from wrestling to MMA earlier I honestly think he could have dominated.

Hendo has to retire, threw 3 leg kicks and Vitor threw one head kick and finished it

Has to be curtains for Hendo. Had an amazing career and it's hard to see him getting knocked out. He's become a gatekeeper of the division and I'm sure he's not too happy with that tag. An absolute MMA legend.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 10,462 Mod ✭✭✭✭Axwell

He should have retired after the Mousassi fight anyways, he got ****ed up in that one and it was time to hang up the gloves after it. Rather see the fight end tonight quickly like it did than him end up taking unnecessary beatings and ending up like a vegetable.

Great card overall but it did drop off a bit for the main card. Delighted Guida lost, maybe he should have spent more times drilling takedowns than talking about McGregor. Reminded me if Davis giving loads to Jones then getting smashed by Rumble. Almeida is a machine. Would love to see him v Sterling but id say they would want to help both of them away from each other for now. Would be a 50/50 fight. Love Cummins but he just seeks to be below the level to challenge but not low enough to get cut. Knew Belfort would win in the first, flurry against weidman cemented that, love Hendo to bits though, amazing career hopefully he calls it a day. The worst part of the card was the Tiabu stoppage, he must be paying off refs and judges at still stage some dodge decisions in his last few fights.

Thomas Almeida is the real deal. Aljamain Sterling would be a cracking matchup if Sterling gets through Eduardo. It would be nice to see him smash Caraway's face in either.
