Does anyone know who to contact to complain about social welface services?
I am a carer, last week they didn't process my money for some strange reason about another department making a mistake, they refused to fix it and left me a full week waiting for payment. I'm now €70+ I'm debt because of this with dd's bouncing and other things!

Secondly I've been calling disability allowance for over a week about my daughters payment but they literally never answer! To take the complete biscuit I called at 4.55, went through an automated press one, two etc service to end up at a message saying the phone line is only open from 9am-5.30pm! Closed 35mins early!!!
If private sector employees acted like they they would be sacked within days!!

    Is there a complaints procedure?

Your best bet is to make an appointment with the the Citizens Advice people and get someone there onto the case. http://www.citizensadvice.ie/
