Hi anybody any ideas of the best way to get a new bike shipped from Scotland to Kildare.

I've tried Anyvan so far and waiting on quotes.

    Thanks

Not for shipping bikes. Oversize parcels are charged on 'Dimensional Weight'.
Bicycles, although light in actual weight, can be packaged in a very large box and have a big dimensional weight. http://www.parcelmotel.com/prices/#prices-oversized

My bike, packaged worked out at 100kg 'dimensional weight'. I got it shipped by AnyVan for around €100.

Got a bike picked up from Poole, transported via Scotland to Dublin last year for £40.
Scottish company. Can't remember offhand but Google it.
    Door to door.
