A question about re-eligibility to Community Employment

I have nearly completed a year in CE with the Galway Peoples' Resource Centre, I fairly like this job here but my boss told me that my CE scheme ends at the starting of December. I was hoping to get another two years at this place of work and this is my dilemma. Previously I done a CE scheme with AMP, Access Music Project when it started up in 1999 and I done this for two years up to 2001. Now I'm told the rules as re-qualification to CE is that a decade has to have transpired before I am eligible again, the previous rule was that it was a fifteen year gap between CE schemes but was changed to ten years. Now I don't want to go back on the scratcher again, can someone confirm if its a 10 year gap or 15 year gap between CE schemes before I can do another two years CE. Thanks in advance of any info, was looking at the Citizens Advice and the Welfare website but its not specific about this particular detail I'm enquiring about.

You might need to ask Welfare that one - I wouldn't imagine many people would be looking to stretch their involvement with CE out over such a long period, so the chances of someone here knowing are slim.

I'm not sure. I found a link which says time on ce schemes is only counted from April 2000. I can't post the link because I don't have enough posts. It's depends on your age as well. I think just ring your local intro centre and they will tell you exactly.
