What is the best method for maintaining tubular tyres from daily wear and tear?

Is there any way to repair a tubular tyre puncture?

Sealant sometimes works or get out the sewing kit.

I have 2 tubs I am gonna send to the states to be repaired (Basically puts a new tube in and new base tape. The tubs are way too new to be binned.

Maybe a group of us get together and split postage?!?!?

How much is the actual repair and postage?

Haven't tried them, but probably cheaper than sending tyres to the US.

The place in the States puts in a brand new tube and base layer.
I will put in a link later.
The place in the UK only repairs the puncture.
One of my tubs blew at the valve so only option was bin or new tube.
The other tub has more then 1 hole. Found 1 and repaired but could still see bubbles.

Why use tubulars for daily riding? Why not use clinchers for daily stuff
