PAYE allowance query

    New to the forum so not sure what the conventions are with regard to first postings, so here goes;

    Earlier this year I incurred legal costs in getting a PSRA licence to carry on my work as a property manager. Would the cost incurred be allowable against income tax.

    I am also studying for further professional qualifications and paying the costs myself. Would the cost of the course be allowable.

    Appreciate any input or advice,

    NotPoshSpice
