LBS stocks these but can't seem to find much online review wise.

Choosing between Giant Defy 1, Cube Attain SL and the newly spotted Thompson R7200.

First Road bike and was just looking for some user reviews of a Thompson with 105 Groupset

i have the R7200 (2014) and love it ... full 105 groupset (not mixed components) .... build quality on the bike is fantastic. Was recommended to me by a avid cyclist who said in terms of bang for buck you will not get better.

I believe the r7200 has been replaced and the 2016 model is the R8200.

    Thanks.

It was the r7200 I saw, €1159 with a little off I'm sure. Full 105 is one of my requirements so this did fit the bill. Price wise it comes in a little under the 2016 Attain I had originally settled on.

Lots of the force model in our club. Some issues on the earlier models with the seat post but all replaced. Personally ally don't like the look of them as a brand but the lads and ladies that have them love them.

Op, I presume you are looking at the Thompson in OK Cycles ?

If so, I think( but not sure) that they can do a custom paint job for you.

They will do you a good deal. Best of luck with your choice.

As I said, wasn't sure about the paint job. Know a lady who bought one about 3 months ago and she may have gone carbon.
Only noticed that they have a new shop when I checked their website just now. Might call in tomorrow for a look around.
They are seriously great to deal with and no quibbles afterwards either.
