Got a text message from BoI requesting me to call 1890 866 555.

Is there an alternative LANDLINE phone number I can use?

Ring the number on the back of your credit card.

    From the Banking 365 website:

    From Republic of Ireland: 0818 365 365     or     01 404 4000
From Great Britain or Northern Ireland: 0845 7 365 555
    Outside these locations: + 353 1 404 4000

Thanks, Atlantic Dawn, but that's another 1890 number.

Would it be possible for the normal landline number to be made more prominently available? 1890 numbers are actually no help to most people with a mobile, but businesses seem to prefer their location-independent appearance. Perhaps you could pass this request up further so that the landline number is clearly displayed on web pages and the like.
