    Hi all,
I'm a 26 yo Irish male working in Toronto, Canada in a quality control job. I got my mechanical engineering degree with a focus on biomedical engineering in 2013. I was not having much luck finding work in Ireland so I tried my luck in Canada.
I applied for a specialist diploma in mechatronics in Limerick starting January 2016. It's a short course lasting about 4 months. Automation seems to be on the rise in general, and I thought it might work to start a career.
Would anyone with any knowledge on the topic know if this course would open any doors, and would it be worth the while? The course description can be seen if you google "specialist diploma in mechatronics Limerick" (I can't post links yet as I'm a new user).

    thanks for reading!
